Lifestages-Samaritan Centers For Women is one of the few physician groups in the Dayton area to employ certified nurse midwives. We have taken the time-honored art of midwifery and made it the gold standard for 21st century excellence in prenatal and birthing care.

Our highly trained and experienced midwives were among the first in the area to champion personal birthing plans that match the needs and expectations of mothers-to-be. For example, for those patients who want it, we have created a home-like birth experience in The Family Birthing Center at Good Samaritan Hospital.

We also offer on-site pregnancy ultrasound services in two of our locations. This ultrasound process produces real-time 3-D scans (sometimes referred to as "4D").

In addition, Lifestages has taken the extra step of undergoing a rigorous evaluation process to achieve accreditation from the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. It is rare for a private practice to be AIUM-accredited, but that's the level of excellence our patients expect and what we are committed to delivering.
